About
Our vision at Badr University in Assuit is to participate in the development of higher education and to be the leader at the national and regional level in providing educational programs to graduate technologists capable of helping health care providers, improving the quality of the health system and covering the needs of the labor market in various health fields. The School of Technology of Applied Health Sciences is providing several educational programs in applied health sciences and disciplines, including Technology of Critical Care, Optics Technology, Radiology and Medical Imaging Technology, Medical Laboratory Technology, and Dental Laboratory Technology.

Career Opportunities
The four-year degree program is designed to prepare professional graduates with innovative, creative, and analytical skills. They are expected to perform as members and key persons in the medical teams in order to uplift their respective fields of Technology of Medical Laboratory, Radiography & Radiotherapy, Critical Case Technology and Dental Laboratory Technology.
The graduates will:

Curricular Concentration: Literature/Science/Science and Mathematics
Percentage: A minimum of 60%
Applicants must have studied two languages including English + 1 Foreign language.
Curricular Concentration: Literature Path
GPA (40%): 8 subjects O level studied during grades 10,11, and 12 including the 5 main subjects of History, Physiology, Sociology, Geology, and Philosophy.
Applicants must have studied two languages including English + 1 Foreign language.
Minimum Grade (per subject): C
SAT (60%):
SAT 1: A minimum grade of 800
SAT 2 (Optional): A minimum grade of 900
Applicants must have studied two languages including English + 1 Foreign language.

After the first semester, students are obliged to take an additional language test.
